I’ve always loved the freedom of starting with a blank page and seeing where an idea might lead. A few simple lines can become a building, a street, or an entire world that didn’t exist before. That’s what I want to share with you in this course: a practical, approachable way to work with perspective, shape, texture, and detail so you can stop wondering how to draw what’s in your head and start bringing your own imaginary worlds to life.
My Story
Hi, I’m Sam Gillett, an illustrator and art educator with a love for creating imaginative worlds in ink and pencil. My work is all about turning simple ideas into rich, believable places filled with perspective, texture, and character. Through this course, I want to help you feel more confident drawing from imagination and give you the tools to start building worlds that feel entirely your own.
